Contest Speech Team
Contest speech provides students the opportunity to perform in a variety of ways either with a group or on their own. There are options for acting on stage in a one act, singing your way through a musical theatre number, telling a story, or writing and giving a persuasive speech. You could even produce a short film or become a radio news announcer. You can be a part of something where you memorize the script, read from a paper or make it up as you go along. Only a few of the option are listed…there truly is something for everyone and EVERYONE will benefit from the skills learned and fun community we build as a speech team. Are you more interested in working behind the scenes? You can be involved in that way too.
